Hi!

My name is Marlène Laurent, and quite early in my life, I developed an incurable wonder for the living and a far from original fascination for felines.

I got my Master's degree in Ecology and Applied Ethology, and originally intended for research in ethology but I quickly realized that science and I had ethical disagreements on how to treat an animal. After several attempts in several areas and with several species, I decided to do something else. I worked for 12 years in the Netherlands in Customer and then Sales service.

Ultimately, having fully lived the expat experience, I returned to France and opened my business as a cat behaviourist. I currently have two shelter cats, Miette and Crapule, who inspired this reconversion.

I speak French natively, English fluently, practice digital drawing as an amateur (you will find some of my illustrations on the site and articles) and strongly believe in humor as a pedagogic tool. ;)
